Ant Control That Targets the Colony
Ants are a year-round nuisance in West Central Minnesota. Pavement ants and odorous house ants show up in kitchens and bathrooms, while carpenter ants — common in older homes and lake properties — hollow out wood to nest in and can cause real structural damage.
Spraying the ants you see does not solve the problem. The colony is almost always elsewhere — in a wall, under a slab, or in a tree stump outside. We locate the colony and satellite nests, treat them directly, and address the conditions that drew them in.
For carpenter ants, we also identify moisture-damaged wood and recommend how to address it, since moisture is what attracts them in the first place.
